This Privacy Policy explains how Grove collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the Grove mobile application and related services.
2. Information Collected
We collect account information, profile information, Groves, Passports, collections, community stories, marketplace listings, messages, uploaded media, transaction records, diagnostics, device identifiers, IP address, approximate location if enabled, and usage analytics.
3. Google Play Data Safety
Data collection and sharing should be accurately disclosed in the Google Play Data Safety form. Grove should only request Android permissions required for features such as camera, photo library, and notifications.
4. How Information Is Used
Operate the service, authenticate users, synchronize data, improve recommendations, provide customer support, detect abuse, comply with legal obligations, and maintain platform security.
5. Community and Marketplace
Information you choose to make public—including your Grove, Passport listings, stories, comments, and marketplace listings—may be visible to other users.
6. Messaging
Private messages are visible only to conversation participants except where disclosure is required by law or necessary to investigate abuse.
7. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers, payment processors, cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, or where legally required.
8. User Controls
Users may control visibility of their Grove, Passports, messaging permissions, marketplace profile, city, USDA growing zone, and notification preferences.
9. Security
Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used, but no system is completely secure.10. Data RetentionInformation is retained while accounts remain active and for reasonable periods afterward for legal, fraud prevention, backup, and operational purposes.
11. International Users
Data may be processed in countries different from the user’s residence.
12. Children’s Privacy
Not intended for children under the applicable minimum digital age.

Depending on jurisdiction, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of personal information.
